You have enjoyed Siemens 3-MICA E81CC 1960s tubes for the same reasonable price for many years when large lots of these were acquired more than a decade ago. We have tried to the keep the same price the for close to a decade. Now that the earlier lots are depleted, we are finding very small batches at more than double our price 10+ years ago.
We did send several low stock alerts on these popular tubes and some of you bought backup pairs. Price will be much higher for the next lots. That is the nature of NOS tubes.
NOTE: These tubes came in a large lot of over 1000 pcs with very close 1966-67 date and batch codes. LABELS ARE NOT PERFECT. Early Siemens printing is very flaky and fragile, and Siemens boxes are taller than the tubes. We have inserted packing peanuts in the tube boxes to restrict movement and minimize further damage to the labels. Tubes are matched according to the test scores and NOT the condition of the label. Brand Spanking New, MINT NOS NIB 1960s Siemens & Halske 3-MICA E81CC tubes. These are premium version of ECC81/12AT7 Type tubes. Munich production date codes etched in small dark font in style of the early Siemens production. Made in West Germany.
One of our favorite ECC81 tube and definitely in top 3 on our list of desirable ECC81 12AT7 types. These are getting very scarce in brand new condition.
Tested and matched on Hickok 752, just recently calibrated and modified
by Hickok expert to all Solid State to eliminate drift. However, on
average 12AT7 measures lower on this 752 than it should.
For
comparison, 12AT7 measuring 4400-4400 on calibrated Hickok 600 measures
3300-3300 mmhos on this 752. Average new 12AT7 on Hickok 600 is 4000
mmhos.
In other words, actual test scores are higher than what we have noted on the tube boxes.Single Tube = $125. Select 2 to get a Matched Pair or 4 for a Matched Quad.
Even odd number of tubes will be also be matched.
